PERTUMBUHAN BENIH IKAN BETOK (Anabas testudineus) PADA SISTEM BIOFLOK DENGAN SALINITAS BERBEDA
Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) cultured with different salinities in the biofloc system are thought to increase growth and survival. This study aimed to determine the effect of different salinities in the biofloc system on the growth and survival of the climbing perch and to determine the best salinity in the biofloc system for climbing perch cultivation. This research was carried out at the Basic Fisheries Laboratory, Aquaculture Study Program, Aquaculture Laboratory and Experimental Ponds, Aquaculture Study Program, Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sriwijaya, for 45 days in April-May 2023. This study used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study was the rearing of climbing perch with different salinities of 0 g L-1 (P0), 2 g L-1 (P1), 4 g L-1 (P2), 6 g L-1 (P3), and 8 g L-1 (P4). The results showed that treatment with rearing in the biofloc system with molasses and 6 g L-1 salinity resulted in an absolute length growth of 1.40 cm, an absolute weight growth of 1.78 g, a survival rate of 92.52%, feed efficiency of 69.02%, floc volume of 10,6 mg L-1, temperature 26.6-29.5°C, Total Suspended Solid (TSS) 76-138 mg L-1, Total Disolved Solid (TDS) 6050-8682 mg L-1, pH 6.72-8.13, dissolved oxygen 4.39-5.62 mg L-1, ammonia 0.01-0.09 mg L-1, and nitrates 2.2-12.2 mg L-1.
