The objectives of this study are to: 1) Analyze the perception of villagers who work as farmers on the conversion of agricultural land into housing in Tanjung Pering Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. 2) Analyzing the socio-economic impact of farmers from the conversion of agricultural land into housing in Tanjung Pering Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Location determination is carried out deliberately with the research method used, namely the survey method. Data collection will take place in March 2023. The sampling method used is the random sample method. The data used are primary data and secondary data, where primary data information is obtained by conducting interviews with sample farmers directly in the field. While secondary data is obtained from related agencies. The data processing methods used are Likert scale and Guttman scale. The results showed that farmers' perceptions of land conversion into housing in Tanjung Pering Village according to data calculations using the Likert scale were at negative intervals. With this, it can be interpreted that farmers disagree about the conversion of agricultural land into housing and based on data calculations using the guttman scale, farmers' answers regarding the socio-economic impact of converting agricultural land into housing in Tanjung Pering Village are at positive intervals. With this, it can be interpreted that the conversion of agricultural land into housing in Tanjung Pering Village has a great impact on farmers.
