This research aims to know how strong the influence of the addition of Sikament-NN and the rice husk ash to value of California Bearing Ratio (CBR) of clay. The writer found that the clay contains low value of CBR for the foundation. The writer wanted to know whether the addition of Sikament-NN and the rice husk ash influenced the value of CBR. The data were collected through laboratory examination by making some clay samples taken by area jalan tanjung Api-api Palembang. The data were analyzed by using American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO, 1995), United State Department of Agriculture (USDA, 1995) and Unified Soil Classification System (USCS, 1995). This research reveals that the value A-7-6 according to USCS was fat clay. After mixing and condensasing with compaction test, the influence could be decreased into 60.4%. Based on the findings, the writer concludes that the addition of Sikament-NN and the rice hull ash influence the value of CBR until 200%. The writer suggest that the addition of Sikament-NN and the rice hull ash represent one of altemative of ground repair, especially for repair of sub grade of roadway.
