This study aim to introduce, preserve and reveal the values of local wisdom in the collection of Belitung folklore and their implications for learning Indonesian in schools. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method. The data source for this research was obtained from a book entitled "Cerite Kampong Dari Kampoeng Halaman" written by Bule Sahib, first printed in 2013 published by PT. Timah. The data collection technique used is the document technique in the form of written documentation and pictures. The analysis technique used is content analysis technique. Research conducted by researchers found twenty-five local wisdom values in the Belitung folklore consisting of fifteen local wisdoms of welfare according to Siberani namely hard work, discipline, education, health, mutual cooperation, gender management, and cultural preservation and creativity. The eight local wisdoms values of peace according to Siberani are politeness, honesty, social solidarity, harmony and conflict resolution, and commitment. Then a new value was found according to Ratnawati (2018), namely the value of magic. The results of this research can be used in learning Indonesia for 10th-grade high school students in the first semester, specifically focusing on folklore stories. The researcher hopes that students will further develop research on Belitung folklore by analyzing typing errors or incorrect use of symbols in the folklore stories.
