KEANEKARAGAMAN SERANGGA POLINATOR PADA PERKEBUNAN TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (Brassica juncea L.) DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to determine the types of pollinator insects, pollinator insect diversity index, and insect visitation activity on green mustard flowers in Sematang Borang District, Palembang City. The method of catching pollinator insects using insect net and yellow trap. The capture time starts in the morning at 07.00-10.00 WIB, in the afternoon at 11.00-14.00 WIB, and in the afternoon at 15.00-18.00 WIB. Insects were collected and identified in the laboratory of Sriwijaya University. Based on the results of the study found 2 orders namely Hymenopthera and Lepidoptera. 6 families namely Apidae, Helictidae, Erebidae, Nymphalidae, Pieridae, and Papilionidae and 12 species namely Apis cerana, Apis dorsata, Augochloropsis metalica, Amata hueberni, Hypolimnas missipus, Hypolimnas bolina, Junonia atlites, Junonia coenia, Junonia orithya, Appias olferna, Graphium doson, and Papilio protenor. The diversity index of pollinator insects showed a medium level of diversity (H`= 2.08). The longest insect visitation activity came from Apis dorsata species and the shortest pollinator insect activity was Junonia orithya species. In conclusion, the number of pollinator insects found was 12 species, with a moderate diversity index and the longest pollinator insect activity was Apis dorsata species.
