PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS CANVA PADA MATERI MEMBUAT IKLAN, SLOGAN, DAN POSTER PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP WIDYA NUSANTARA
This research was conducted using research and development methods and using the development model of Alessi and Trollip. This study aims (1) to describe the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers and students of class VIII SMP Widya Nusantara for learning media to make advertisements, slogans and posters based on Canva. (2) Describe the design of Canva-based learning media in materials for making advertisements, slogans, and posters that suit the needs of teachers and class VIII students at SMP Widya Nusantara. (3) Describe the validation results of the learning videos on material for making advertisements, slogans, and posters for class VIII students at SMP Widya Nusantara. (4) knowing the practicality of Canva-based learning media in the material of making advertisements, slogans and posters for class VIII students of Widya Nusantara Middle School. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, feasibility tests, and practicality tests. Based on the results of the needs analysis, teachers and students stated that they needed Canva-based learning media for materials for making advertisements, slogans, and posters. The validation assessment (alpha/feasibility test) was carried out on two aspects, namely media and material. The two assessments show a percentage value of 95% for material and 97.5% for media. It can be concluded that the media deserves to be tested with revision notes according to the suggestions. Based on the results of the product trial (beta test/practicality test) on the teacher and three students with high, medium, and low ability categories using the one to one method, the results obtained from the trial were very practical media with a student percentage of 92.5%, 90%, and 85%, while the percentage of teachers is 87.5%.
