ANALISIS FAKTOR–FAKTOR KESULITAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 2 TANJUNG RAJA
This research aimed to discover factors related with learning difficulties experienced in economics by students of SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir, (2nd Tanjung Raja State Senior High School, Ogan Ilir). This research was conducted as quantitative, descriptive study. This research involved 45 students from XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 (eleventh grade students) and the survey was conducted as total sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire and document reviews. Questionnaire in this study was validated with Pearson’s correlation test (Pearson’s product-moment correlation), while the internal reliability was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha test. From the result of the study, students’ interest in economics was categorized as “high”, scoring at 70.25. On the other hand, students’ motivation in economics was categorized as “high”, scoring at 64.60; while school environment factor was categorized as “high” with score of 74.44. Students’ motivation scored lowest from all three factors measured, with score of 64.60. The author suggested to improve students’ motivation in order to help overcome learning difficulties experienced by students.
