HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL ANAK TERHADAP INTERAKSI TEMAN SEBAYA DI SMA NEGERI 1 PRABUMULIH
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of children's emotional intelligence on peer interaction in SMA Negeri 1 Prabumulih students. This research uses quantitative research. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Prabumulih with a research sample of 70 students consisting of class IX.IPS 2 which amounted to 34 students and class IX. Science 1 numbered 36 students taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation and questionnaire techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results of the questionnaire, the seven indicators that became the benchmark for researchers with 38 statement items obtained the average value of the whole is 80.1, this means that in general emotional intelligence on peer interaction in SMA Negeri 1 Prabumulih students can implemented effectively with an average score of interpretation > 50 (effective). Furthermore, in the results of data analysis and discussion of the seven indicators, it is known that based on the results of observations, the seven indicators that became the benchmark for researchers with 38 statement items obtained the average value of the entire class IX.IPS 2 is 97.8 and class IX.IPA 1 is 99.8 This means that in general, emotional intelligence on peer interaction in SMA Negeri 1 Prabumulih students can be carried out effectively with an average score of interpretation > 62.5 (effective).
