Siamese gourami (Trichogaster pectoralis) live commonly in the lakes, rivers and swamps, especially in waters overgrown with aquatic plants. Spawning is influenced by internal and external factors, one of internal factors is the gonadotropin hormone which can be obtained from ovaprim. sGnRH-a in ovaprim is one of the synthetic hormones that can be used to stimulate spawning so that it can accelerate ovulation and produce good quality of eggs. This study aimed to determine the best dose of sGnRH-a in ovaprim to increase hatching percentage of snakeskin gourami. This research method used a completely randomized design with five treatments and three replications: treatment P0 (control), P1 (ovaprim 0.4mL kg-1), P2 (ovaprim 0.5 mL kg-1), P3 (ovaprim 0.6 mL kg-1), p4 (ovaprim 0.7 mL kg-1). The results showed that P4 was the best treatment with a latency time 8.47 hours, fertilization percentage 98.00%, hatching percentage 90.67%, survival rate 94.86% and abnormality percentage 0.38%. The water quality during study namely temperature ranged from 26.5-27.9ºC, pH 6.0-6.9, dissolved oxygen 4.0-5.7 mg L�1 and ammonia 0.021-0.052 mg L-1.
