Water Management in the tidal area of Saleh Mukti village is supported by tertiary canal and floodgates. The tertiary canal in tidal land of Saleh Mukti Village increased the planting index to 2 planting seasons in 1 year, from only 1 seasons in 1 year, so that productivity increased. This study aims to (1) describe the factors that affect the management of tertiary canal in Saleh Mukti village, Air Salek District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) to determine the role of tidal land tertiary canal in Saleh Mukti village Air Salek District Banyuasin Regency, (3) analyze the production and income of tidal land rice farmers in Saleh Mukti village, Air Salek District Banyuasin Regency. The determination of the location was carried out on the consideration that in the village of Saleh Mukti has tidal rice fields that have tertiary channels and sluices. Data collection was carried out in March 2023. The research method used is survey method. Sampling method using simple random sampling method . Sample of 45 people. Data collected are primary data and secondary data. The method of data processing to answer the first goal using descriptive analysis, then to answer the second goal using the Likert scale, and to answer the third goal using the formula of receipts and income. The results showed that (1) there are factors that affect the management of tertiary canal in Saleh Mukti village, namely water distribution and infrastructure. (2) the tertiary canal of tidal land has several roles including, as a provider of water which is also useful for the application of fertilizers and pesticides, and as drainage or sewerage. (3) the average production of rice farming in Saleh Mukti village reached 8.220,7 kg per hectare per year. The average income of rice farming in Saleh Mukti village is Rp. 27.248.006, - per hectare per year. Keywords : canal tertier, rice, tidal land
