The objectives of this study were (1) Analyzing the characteristics of beef suppliers for Gandus Modern Ruminant RPH products through the modern market in the city of Palembang. (2) Analyzing supply chain mechanisms related to product flow, financial flow and information flow in the beef supply chain of Gandus Modern Ruminant RPH products through the Palembang City modern market. (3) Analyzing the supply chain efficiency of beef from Gandus Modern Ruminant RPH products through the modern market in the city of Palembang. This research was carried out at the Ganuds Modern Ruminant RPH in January 2023. The research method used was a survey method and purposive sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study were. (1) The characteristics of supply chain actors are: (a) all respondents are in productive age, (b) the sex of wholesalers is all male, retailers are divided into male and female, and consumers are all female, (c) education for wholesalers and retailers average bachelor degree, and average consumer senior high school, (d) The number of dependents of the families of wholesalers and consumers with an average of 3, average retailers 4, Product flow mechanism of the beef supply chain Gandus Modern Ruminant RPH Products, Palembang City, there is a flow of products in the form of beef from the wholesalers to the final consumers, the flow of information starts from the wholesalers with the retailers. there is and the prevailing price on the market, then from the retailer to the consumer the information provided by the retailer is the selling price of beef and the financial flow that flows from the consumer to the wholesaler for the payment received by each link involved in it and the payment system is in cash or via transfer, (3) The efficiency of beef distribution in the study area is that it can be said that beef marketing efficiency in the study area is efficient
