This study aims to (1) Analyze the role of Perum Bulog as a government agency in maintaining the stabilization of rice prices (2) analyze the perception of farmers gapoktan about the performance of Perum bulog in the absorption of grain and rice. Site selection based on purposive sampling. Research ends in February 2023. The method used in this study is a survey method. The Data used are primary and secondary data. The method of data collection is done by observation. Result research is (1). At the consumer level, Perum bulog is able to maintain the stabilization of medium and premium rice prices with a price index of 98%. At the level of Perum Bulog producers were able to maintain price stabilization with an index of 102%. (2) the performance of Perum Bulog which consists of 4 indicators, namely the performance of absorption preparation, absorption implementation, evaluation and reporting of absorption results is included in the medium category with an average score of 43.0. based on the perception of farmers in lahat Regency, Perum Bulog gets medium criteria
