Quail have good egg production and can produce 200-300 eggs per year. Quail performance is influenced by feed consumption, genetics, environment, cage management and disease. Escherichia coli bacteria are bacteria that cause Colibacillosis disease in quails which causes decreased appetite, diarrhea and quail body immunity, so that quail nutrients are not absorbed optimally which causes a decrease in egg production and a high feed conversion value (FCR). This study aims to determine the benefits of aloe vera and guava leaves in improving the performance of quail infected with Escherichia Coli bacteria. Parameters observed in this study included feed consumption, egg production (Hen Day) and feed conversion value (FCR). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications and continued with the Duncan test. The treatment consisted of: R0 (positive control) = infected with Escherichia coli + not given supplements, R1 (negative control) = not infected with Escherichia coli + not given supplements, R2 = infected with Escherichia coli + supplemented with aloe vera extract (2%), R3 = infected with Escherichia coli + supplemented with aloe vera extract (4%), R4 = infected with Escherichia coli + supplemented with aloe vera (2%) + guava leaves (2%). The results of this study indicate that the effect of adding aloe vera extract and guava leaf extract in drinking water on the performance of quail infected with Escherichia coli bacteria was significantly different (P>0.05) on feed consumption, egg production (Hen Day), and conversion value ration (FCR). The addition of aloe vera extract and guava leaf extract to quail drinking water can improve feed consumption, egg production (Hen Day), and feed conversion (FCR). This is because the content of anti-bacterial compounds in aloe vera and guava leaves can inhibit the growth and development of Escherichia Coli bacteria.
