Almost everyday transportation problems happen, ranging from traffic congestion problems to air pollulion problems. As the populalion increases, the number of vehicles increases and causes air pollulion from vehicle exhaust emissions increases loo. Case study in ihis research is Simpang 5 Lebong Siarang Palembang which is an unsignalized interseclion with al! traffic problems including air pollulion especially vehicle exhaust emissions. For that, Simpang 5 Lebong Siarang Palembang needs a solution to overcome the problem. In this study, four alternatives are used to overcome these problems, such as signalized interseclion planning, road widening, combination of signalized interseclion planning and road widening and one way syslem planning. To overcome the problem be done by using two analysis program that are, PTV V1SSIM and EnViVer. From the PTV VISSIM program can be known the value of queue length and delay at the interseclion and the EnViVer program can be known the total emission load.
