Agriculture is one of the income sectors for the Indonesian people because most of the people work as farmers, where food crops and horticulture are the main commodities in the agricultural sector that are needed. Pest and disease attacks are the main obstacles that can cause losses and decreased production yields for farmers. Hence the need for environmentally friendly pest and disease control. The age factor is one of the factors that can affect the activities of farmers. Age can affect a farmer's memory, productivity, mindset and courage. This study aims to evaluate integrated plant pest and disease control by food and horticultural crop farmers based on age in implementing PHT in South Sumatra. The method used in this study is by conducting interviews and direct observations in farmers' fields. The results obtained by most farmers know and have applied the concept of PHT with the aim of reducing the development of pests and diseases, but farmers do not fully understand the concept of PHT. The PHT score of farmers with an age range of 30-40 is higher with a score of 65.64% compared to farmers in the age range of 20-30 with a score of 62.86%, farmers in the age range of 40-50 with a score of 64.46% and farmers from the age range of >60 or
