UJI KINERJA HAND TRACTOR TIPE CAPUNG PADA VARIASI KECEPATAN MAJU, DIAMETER RODA BESI, DAN BEBAN PEMBERAT TERHADAP SLIP RODA
This research wants to find out how the condition of the wheels slip on a hand tractor that uses iron wheels when cultivating the soil with different speed variations, the size of the iron wheels, and different loads. This research was conducted from May to June 2023 at the Mechanical Laboratory, Soil and Water Engineering, Agricultural Engineering Study Program, as well as the Practicum and Research Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya Indralaya University. The method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design using three factors, namely forward speed, wheel diameter, and ballast load. The research parameters consist of main and supporting parameters. This means that there are several important and additional factors to consider when conducting research. The main parameter is wheel slip. Supporting parameters include Water Content, Bulk Density, Fuel Requirement, Travel Time Per Track, Width of Land Turning, and Percentage of Land Turning. Variation analysis shows that adding additional load has a significant effect on wheel slip. The heavy load on the hand tractor makes the wheels slip with the lowest average of 20.65% and the highest average of 37.35%.
