RESPON PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR ASAL BUAH SAWIT
This study aims to determine the growth response of oil palm seedlings aged 5 months to the application of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from palm fruit and get the right dose of LOF for the growth of oil palm seedlings. The research was conducted from November 2022 to March 2023 at the research garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University (-3.222'770", 104.646"99.3), South Sumatra. The research method uses Random Block Design (RBD) with 5 levels, namely; 0% LOF (P0), 25% LOF (P1), 50% LOF (P2), 75% LOF (P3), and 100% LOF (P4). The observation results were analyzed using various fingerprints and continued with the LSD 0.05 test. The variables observed consisted of plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf greenness, stem diameter, and number of midribs. Environmental conditions in the study area had a light intensity of 362 K.lux and a temperature of 29.6 °C. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer from palm fruit had a significant effect on changing leaf width and leaf greenness and had a very significant effect on plant height, leaf length, stem diameter, and number of midribs. The growth response of oil palm seedlings at 50% LOF application has a good effect on plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf greenness, stem diameter, and number of fronds.
