This study aims to determine the capacity of the shaking screen type cassava extraction machine, the yield of the cassava extraction process using the shaking screen type extraction machine and the power efficiency of the shaking screen type cassava extraction machine. This research was carried out from August 2022 to October 2022 at CV. Petani Ogan Makmur and Biosystems Laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with two treatment factors, rotational speed of 260 rpm and 300 rpm and cassava mass of 100 kg, 200 kg and 300 kg. The research used three parameters, namely extraction capacity, yield of wet starch, yield of dry starch, yield of dry cassava and engine power efficiency. The results showed that the highest extraction capacity value was found in the treatment combination with a cassava mass of 300 kg and a rotating speed of 300 rpm with an extraction capacity of 725.08 ± 2.32 kg/hour. The highest wet starch yield value was located at a rotational speed of 260 rpm with a mass of 100 kg cassava of 39.54 ± 0.66% with a moisture content of 56.64%. The highest dry starch yield value was located at a rotational speed of 260 rpm with a mass of 100 kg cassava of 24.47 ± 0.12% with a moisture content of 12,96%. The highest yield value of dry cassava is located at a rotational speed of 300 rpm with a mass of 300 kg cassava of 10.68 ± 0.05% with a moisture content of 13,04%The value of the highest engine power efficiency in the treatment combination of 260 rpm rotating speed with 100 kg mass of cassava was 95,5±0,005%. Keywords: Cassava extraction machine shaking screen type, Mass of cassava, Rotational speed (rpm).
