PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BALOK ANGKA MENJADI BATANG CUISENAIRE UNTUK KEMAMPUAN SERIASI ANAK USIA (4-5) TAHUN DI GUMAWANG OKU TIMUR

This study aims to develop a number block media into a cuisenaire rod for the serialization ability of children aged (4-5) years in East Gumawang Oku that is valid and practical. This development uses the Rowntree model with a modification of the Tessmer Formative evaluation model. There are three stages of Rowntree development, namely the planning stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage. The Tessmer formative evaluation stage consists of the Self Evaluation stage, the Expert Review stage, the One-To-One Evaluation stage, and the Small Group Evaluation stage. Data collection techniques using walkthrough and observation. The results of the expert review for the validity of the material were obtained by 88% with a very valid category and the validity of the media was obtained by 90% with a very valid category. From the results of the validity of the material and media obtained an average of 89% categorized as very valid. The One-To-One Evaluation stage involved 3 children with 91% results in the very practical category and the Small Group Evaluation stage involved 9 children with 95% results in the very practical category. The results from the One-To-One Evaluation stage and the Small Group Evaluation stage obtained an average of 93% which is categorized as very practical. This research only reached the Small Group Evaluation stage because it was only to see the validity and practicality of a product. From all the steps that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the number block media into cuisenaire stems for the serialization ability of children aged (4-5) years in East Gumawang Oku is declared valid and practical and feasible to use for children's serialization learning.
