The purpose of this research is to: 1) Calculate how much rice farmer household income in Merah Mata Village, Banyuasin District1, Banyuasin Regency. 2) Analyze hat are the factors that affect the income of rice farmers in Merah Mata Village, Banyuasin District, Banyuasin Regency. 3) Assessing the level of welfare of rice farmer households in Merah Mata Village, Banyuasin District1, Banyuasin Regency. The location of this research is in Merah Mata Village, Banyuasin 1 District, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was carried out in February 2023. The data collection method used a survey method with questionnaires and interviews with a total of 38 rice farmers as samples. The results obtained from this study are as follows 1) Household income is 58,188,184/year or IDR 4,849,015/month. The highest household income came from non-rice farming income, which was Rp. 22,026,316/lg/year or Rp. 1,835,526/lg/month with a percentage of 37.85 percent. The next largest income is income from outside farming, which is IDR 18,450,000/year or IDR 1,537,500/month with a percentage of 31.71 percent. Meanwhile, income from rice farming is IDR 217,698.013/year or IDR 1,474,834/month with a percentage of 30.44 percent. 2) Factors that have a significant effect on rice farming income in Merah Mata Village are the selling price, production and production costs. While the factors that have significant no effect are labor and land area. 3) The welfare level of rice farming households in Merah Mata Village is dominated by farmers who are not yet prosperous. Where if KHL is compared with household income there are 12 prosperous farmers and 36 farmers who are not prosperous. Meanwhile, if only relying on rice farming income, there are 7 prosperous farmers and 31 non-prosperous farmers.
