ANALISIS INTERVAL PEMBERIAN AIR PADA TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (Brassica Juncea L.) MENGGUNAKAN IRIGASI TETES EMITTER STICK
This study aims to analyze of water intervals on plant growth of green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) using a drip irrigation emitter stick as well as determining the best interval of watering for the production of mustard greens. This research was carried out from August 2022 to October 2022 at the Plant House and Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory, Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatra. The research method used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design with research factors, namely the water administration interval consisted of three treatment levels and was repeated ten times. Parameters observed were water storage efficiency, number of leaves, fresh stove weight, dry stove weight, and root dry weight. The highest emitter discharge measurement results were in pipe 3 at 11.65 ml/minute and the highest drip irrigation uniformity coefficient in pipe 2 was 95.63%. The results of this study indicated that the interval of watering had a different effect on the water storage efficiency and fresh weight of mustard greens, but a no different effect on the number of leaves, fresh stove weight and dry stove weight. Interval treatment every other day is the best treatment with the highest average water storage efficiency 75.83% with the number and average production of mustard greens with 12.2 leaves, fresh stove weight of 68.27 g, dry stove weight of 5.49 g, and root dry weight 0.47 g.
