The research entitled measuring the physical activity of playing volleyball in North Indralaya 2 Public Middle School students used an outdoor laboratory in the FKIP educational park. This study intends or aims to determine the physical activity of volleyball players at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. The components studied included endurance, speed, arm muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The subjects of this study were volleyball players at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara with a total of 30 players consisting of 22 boys and 8 girls. Data collection used a test, with the following instruments: endurance test using a bleep test, speed test using a 30 meter run, arm muscle strength using a push up test, abdominal muscle strength using a 30 second sit up test, leg muscle explosive power using a test vertical jumps. The research was carried out in the FKIP outdoor laboratory. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, which is expressed in the form of a percentage. The results obtained from the study showed that the physical activity of volleyball players at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara which included endurance, speed, arm muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, leg muscle explosive power were in the moderate category and there were 3 players (10%) in the very good category. , 6 players (20%) in the good category, 11 players (37%) in the enough category, 9 players (30%) in 0 categories 3 less, 1 player (3%) in the category 6 very less. It can be concluded that the physical activity of volleyball players at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara is in the sufficient category. Furthermore, after this research was carried out it was intended that a growing sense of awareness for players and students to continue to improve and maintain physical activity wherever and whenever, so as to improve the physical condition of players who are currently still in the sufficient category so that later they can get better and succeed in achieving maximum performance.
