PERBANDINGAN FOLIKEL DE GRAAF PADA SAPI BRAHMAN DAN BELGIAN BLUE CROSSBREED YANG TERDIAGNOSA DELAYED OVULASI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ULTRASONOGRAFI (USG)
In Indonesia, cattle that are widely bred as beef cattle include Brahman Crossbreed cattle and Belgian Blue Crossbreed cattle. However, the population has decreased every year because there are still many problems found in the cattle reproductive system, causing low productivity and development of the cattle population. One of the diseases that causes disturbances in cattle reproduction is delayed ovulation. This study aimed to observe the comparison of de graaf follicles in Brahman Cross and Belgian Blue Cross cattle diagnosed with delayed ovulation. The variables observed in this study in examining follicular dynamics were 3000 wd ultrasonography (USG) and a linear type transducer with a frequency of 5.0 MHz. The results of observations using ultrasonography (USG) found that the size of the follicles in Belgian Blue cattle is influenced by the hormones FSH, progesterone and LH. The duration of estrus in Brahman Crossbreed cattle occurred for 18 hours, and in Belgian Blue Crossbreed cattle it occurred for 72 hours with normal estrus symptoms
