his study discusses the role of the community market as a place to shop for food products for the needs of farmer households in Damar Wulan Village, Banyuasin Regency. The objectives in conducting this research were (1) to calculate the contribution of the community market as a place to shop for household food needs of farmers in Damar Wulan Village, Banyuasin Regency, (2) to analyze farmers' perceptions of the existence of a community market as a place to shop for household food needs in Damar Wulan Village, District Banyuasin, (3) Identify and formulate efforts to increase the role of the community market as a place to shop for food needs for household farmers in Damar Wulan Village, Banyuasin Regency. This study uses survey methods and questionnaires as a research tool. The sampling method in this study was simple random sampling and used the Slovin formula to determine the number of samples and the respondents. Data collection in this study used primary data and secondary data which was conducted in December 2022. The results of this research are the village market has not contributed to household food needs as well as farmers' perceptions of the existence of the circle market as a place to shop for food products for household needs are included in the criteria of having no role. Based on the analysis of the Logical Framework Approach (LFA), a solution was found by increasing the diversity of types of food sold in the community market through several ways including, giving directions to farmers and middlemen to buy more diverse food from other village farmers, involving market heads and establishing good communication. both between the head of the market and Bumdes to consider the cost of renting a kiosk, as well as directions and training for farmers regarding farming skills which are carried out together with extension workers.
