Agricultural development in the swamp area is faced with problems in the form of low land productivity and low availability of labor resources. The achievement of rice farming productivity is inseparable from the role of farmer groups as institutions that accommodate the interests of farmers in carrying out their farming activities. Farmer groups can indirectly become a form of business to increase farming productivity by managing farming together. By forming a group it will facilitate the achievement of goals compared to working individually. The aims of this study were to: (1) Measure the role of combined farmers’ group in increasing the productivity of rice farming in Gedung Buruk Village. (2) Calculating the productivity of rice farming in farmer groups in Gedung Buruk Village. (3) Analyzing the relationship between the role of combined farmers’ group and the productivity of rice farming in Gedung Buruk Village. This research was conducted in Gedung Buruk Village, Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency. The research was conducted from November to December 2023. The research location was in Gedung Buruk Village, Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency. The selection of this location is done purposively or intentionally. The research method used in this study is a survey method by distributing questionnaires and direct interviews. Determination of the sample using a simple random method with a total sample of 40. From the results of this study it can be explained that (1) The role of rice farmer groups as a vehicle for learning classes, a vehicle for collaboration and as a production unit in Gedung Buruk Village, Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency has a score of 50.9 with moderate criteria. (2) The average productivity of rice farming in Gedung Buruk Village, Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency is 3.455 kg/ha/year with the type of shallow and middle lowland swamps which have a planting cycle once a year. (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the role of farmer groups and the productivity of rice farming with a correlation coefficient of 0.385 with a moderate degree of relationship criteria.
