Limited agricultural land and the lack of use of swamp land in South Sumatra are one of the reasons it is important to conduct an analysis of floating plant cultivation. Floating plant cultivation is one of the solutions that can be developed in lowland swamplands during the flood period. This research was conducted from September to February 2022, at the Field Laboratory of the Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. Analysis of K, Ca and Mg will be carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 10 treatment levels and 3 replications and 2 series so that it had 60 experimental units. Based on research on the Effect of Vermicompost and Compost on the Nutrient Content of K, Ca, Mg of Soil and Plants as well as Floating Basmati Rice Production in Swamp Land, it can be concluded that the application of vermicompost and compost has a significant effect on the nutrient content of K, Ca, Mg of soil and plants, treatment V20 (Vermicompost dose of 20 tons ha-1) was the treatment that had the highest effect on the nutrient content of K, Ca, Mg of soil and plants, NPK treatment was the treatment that had the most effect on the number of panicles per clump and the number of spikes per panicle, C (Without Treatment) was the treatment with the lowest effect on the nutrient content of K, Ca, Mg of soil and plants as well as the number of panicles per clump and the number of spikes per panicle. Key Words : Basmati Rice, Compost and Vermicompost, Floating Farming Sistem, Swampland
