Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 35 hari di Kandang Percobaan Program Studi Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb) pada ayam broiler terhadap persentase rasio daging dan tulang dan kandungan protein ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor ayam broiler strain Lohmann MB-202 yang diperoleh dari PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), Desa Segayam, Kecamatan Gelumbang, Kabupaten Muara Enim. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan terdiri dari P0 (kontrol), P1 (0,5% sari temulawak/berat badan), P2 (1% sari temulawak/berat badan), dan P3 (sari temulawak 1,5%/berat badan). Peubah yang diamati adalah persentase rasio daging dan tulang dan kadar protein daging. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian jus temulawak secara cekok berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar protein daging ayam (P0,05) terhadap persentase rasio daging dan tulang ayam broiler. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian jus temulawak pada ayam broiler bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kandungan protein daging ayam broiler pada dosis 0,5%.
