IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN BERORIENTASI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERFIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PPKn KELAS XII DI SMA NEGERI 5 TALANG UBI
This study aims to see how the implementation of the problem-based learning model and its influence on students' critical thinking skills in class XII PPKn subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Talang Ubi. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design method. The research population was all class XII of SMA Negeri 5 Talang Ubi with the number of 83 students. The sampling technique for this study used a purposive sampling technique. The samples taken were XII A as the experimental class and XII B as the control class with a total of 56 Learners. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, technology, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the problem-based learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking skills. It is evident from the results of the N Gain Score analysis test for the experimental class that it obtained a value of 0.54 which is categorized as moderate, which means that the effect of applying the problem-based learning model has moderate value in improving students' critical thinking skills.
