This study aims to determine the effect of giving compensation on the work discipline of teachers in Palembang life school tutoring. The population in this study amounted to 32 people. This study uses a saturated sampling method, primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires and simple linier analysis methods as a data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on teacher work discipline. For companies it is advisable to carry out evaluations or adjustments by increasing teachers salaries, besides paying attention to the incentives and allowances given to teachers in line with the increase in teachers work discipline.
