Alabio yam (Dioscorea alata L.) is a climbing shrub with a length of 3-10 m. There are quite a lot of types of Alabio yam, but it can be clearly distinguished from the color of the flesh, namely red/purple (violet) and white yam This research was carried out with the aim of evaluating and obtaining optimal growth results of alabio yam plants with the addition of manure and liquid organic fertilizer. This research method used a factorial randomized block design (FRBD) consisting of 2 (two) factors. The first factor was the composition of the planting medium with 3 types, namely T0 = control without fertilizer, T1 = 1:1 and T2 = 2:1. The second factor was LOF concentrations with 4 types, namely P1 = 1% (10ml), P2 = 1.5% (15ml), P3 = 2% (20ml) and P4 = 2.5% (25ml), resulting in total of 12 treatments consisting of 3 repelicates so there were 108 plants. Parameters observed consisted of stem length, number of leaves, number of branches, tuber weight, and tuber volume. The results showed that the application of planting media composition had no significant effect on all parameters observed and the LOF treatment manure had a significant effect on the tuber weight parameter but did not differ significantly on other parameters, namely stem length, number of leaves, number of branches, and tuber volume. The best results were found in the manure LOF treatment with a concentration of 1% (10ml) resulting in the highest tuber weight of 701 grams. Based on the results of this study it can also be seen that there was no interaction between the application of planting media composition and the LOF of goat manure.
