Pakchoy (Brassica chinensis L.) is a type of vegetable that has high demand in Indonesian society. Pakchoy mustard has many benefits, including being good for the health of the body. Pakchoy mustard plants have several advantages, namely being able to grow both in the lowlands and highlands, resistant to rainwater, can be harvested throughout the year, does not depend on the season, the harvest period is quite short, which is about 40 days after planting, and pakchoy has economic value. high enough. On the other hand, water hyacinth has a very fast growth rate in fertile waters so it can cause losses, namely reducing the productivity of water bodies such as taking up space which in a short time its development can cover 20-70% of the water area. So one way to prevent the very high growth of water hyacinth is to use it as liquid organic fertilizer. This research have been done in Tanjung Barangan, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The time for conducting the research starts from October to December 2022. The method used in this research is an experiment according to the rules of a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 6 (six) treatments, each treatment consisting of 3 (three) experimental units and consisting of 4 (four) replicates so that there were 72 plants. The treatment of mustard pakchoy plants was as follows: D0 = 0% liquid organic fertilizer concentration (Control), D1 = 5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration, D2 = 10% liquid organic fertilizer concentration, D3 = 15% liquid organic fertilizer concentration, D4 = 20% liquid organic fertilizer concentration, D5 = 25% liquid organic fertilizer concentration. The results of the observations were analyzed by means of variance and 5% BNT test. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of leaves, dry weight of leaves, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots, root length, degree of the greenness of leaves, and leaf area. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the administration of water hyacinth liquid organic fertilizer was able to increase the growth and yield of pakchoy greens, especially the application of a 20% concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which had the best effect on average for almost all treatments.
