This study aims to determine the effect of wages, education level, age, mastery of technology and disciplines for educated workers in the city of Palembang. The data used are primary data with 100 respondents through questionnaires and interviews, the analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis and the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method. The results of multiple regression analysis show that age and mastery of technology have a negative influence on the length of job search. For wages and level of education has a positive and significant influence. Gender and discipline variables had a positive but not significant influence on the length of time of job searching.
