Covid-19 pandemic has led to a decrease in farmers’ rice plants farming income and farmers’ side income. The aims of this study are: (1) Analyze the differences in farmers’ income before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) Analyze farmers’ welfare during Covid-19 pandemic, (3) Identify the strategies of tidal rice farmers to deal with adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in March-May 2023 in Pulo Kerto Village, Gandus District, Palembang City. The method used in this study is a survey method. Sample selection using random sampling method. The results showed that: (1) There’s a significant difference in farmers’ income before and during Covid-19 pandemic, (2) Farmers’ welfare level during Covid-19 pandemic is classified as not prosperous because their income is lower than the needs of decent life standard, (3) The application of active strategies, passive strategies, and network strategies by farmers is in moderate criteria with scores of 21,24. The application of active and passive strategies is in moderate criteria with scores of 7,98 dan 7,19 respectively, meanwhile networks strategies is in low criteria with scores of 6,07.
