ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN SERTA PEMASARAN USAHATANI IKAN PATIN SISTEM KERAMBA JARING TANCAP DI DESA ULAK KEMANG KECAMATAN PAMPANGAN KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
The kind of freshwater utilization fish that has potentital and is tremendously adored by the general population is the catfish, particularly on the island of Sumatera and Kalimantan. The objectives of this research are: (1) Analyzing the income level of catfish farming in plugged net cages system in Ulak Kemang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. (2) Analyzing the feasibility of catfish farming in plugged net cages system in Ulak Kemang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, namely based on R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback period, and sensitivity analysis. (3) Exploring the marginal channels, marketing margins, farmer’s share, marketing profits and marketing efficiency applied by catfish cultivators in plugged net cages system in Ulak Kemang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This location selection is done purposively or intentionally. Data collection was carried out in September 2022. Sampling samples in this research were the cultivation farmers catfish plugged net cages system in Ulak Kemang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The sample selection used simple random sampling method. For discussion, other supporting sources and libraries are also used as references. The results showed that (1) The income of catfish farmers in net cages in Ulak Kemang Village is an average of Rp.67.102.103/Kg/Year, which means the results of cultivating catfish are profitable. (2) The business feasibility criteria based on the financial aspect obtained a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp.91.650.852. The Net R/C Ratio 3,21 and B/C Ratio 2,21 is worth more than 1, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) ) is greater than the interest rate of 6 percent, which is 31 percent, and the payback period obtained is amounting to 1,02 year in a 10 years analysis period, this business feasible to develop is based on a sensitivity analysis if there is a change in the increase in production costs by 36 percent and there is a change in the selling price decrease by 12 percent. (3) There are 2 marketing channels applied, the first channel is from farmers to agents to wholesalers to retailers and consumers, the second channel is from farmers to agents to retailers and consumers. Marketing efficiency obtained by traders is at an efficiency lavel of 50,57% for the marketing channel I and 32,13% for marketing channel II.
