This study aims to see the effect of production factors on the value of output, and see the conditions of economies of scale and the level of profit in the tobacco drying and processing industry in Indonesia. The data used in the study used secondary data sourced from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics for 2000-2020. The analysis technique used using multiple linear regression tests based on the Cobb-Douglass production function. The results showed that the production factors of raw and auxiliary materials (R), labour (L), and fixed capital (K) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the value of output (Y). Partially, the variables of raw and auxiliary materials (R), and labour (L) have a significant effect on the value of output (Y), while fixed capital (K) has no significant effect on the value of output (Y) in the industry. The test of economies of scale in the tobacco drying and processing industry in Indonesia is in the condition of Increasing Return to Scale. The tobacco drying and processing industry in Indonesia has an average profit rate of 42.20 per cent or 2.60 trillion rupiah.
