FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN DAN MANAJEMEN PASCA PANEN PETANI KOPI ROBUSTA (COFFEA CANEPHORA) DI KECAMATAN LENGKITI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU SUMATERA SELATAN
The importance of the factors of land area, amount of production, production costs, and how good post-harvest management can affect the income generated by farmers, especially robusta coffee farmers. This research is useful: 1) To calculate the amount of farming income of coffee farmers, 2) To analyze what factors can affect the income of Robusta coffee farmers consisting of land area, amount of production, and production cost factors in Bumi Kawa Village, Lengkiti District Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province, and 3) To describe post-harvest management of coffee commodities carried out by farmers. The method used in this research is survey method. The sampling method used was a simple random sampling method with a total sample of 35 farmers conducting Robusta coffee farming activities. The results of this study used various data processing methods. The first is the calculation of income with the result that the income of Robusta coffee farmers averages Rp. 34,595,114 hectares per year. The second data processing method is multiple linear regression analysis with the results stating that simultaneously, the factors of land area, amount of production, and production costs have a real and significant effect on the income variable of robusta coffee farmers in Bumi Kawa Village. While partially, the factor that has a positive and significant effect on the income of Robusta coffee farmers in Bumi Kawa Village is the factor of the amount of production. While partially, the factor that has a positive and significant effect on the income of Robusta coffee farmers is the factor of the amount of production. Then there is a factor that has a negative and significant effect on the income of Robusta coffee farmers, namely the production cost factor. Meanwhile, the land area factor has no significant effect on the income of Robusta coffee farmers in Bumi Kawa Village. The third method of data processing is to use data taken from direct interviews with Robusta coffee farmers and to provide questionnaires related to post-harvest activities which consist of collection, transportation, drying, packaging, and selling.
