PENGARUH KOMPOSISI MEDIA TANAM DAN POC LIMBAH SAYUR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN UBI JALAR ORANYE (Ipomoea batatas L.) ASAL UMBI
This research was conducted to determine the effect of Growing Media Composition and Liquid Organic Fertilizer From Vegetable Waste on the growth of orange sweet potatoes. This research was carried out from December 2022 to February 2023 in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research used randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 8 treatments, namely P1 = 2,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 3:1 growing media composition, P2 = 5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 3:1 growing media composition, P3 = 7,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 3:1 growing media composition, P4 = 10% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 3:1 growing media composition, P5 = 2,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 4:1 growing media composition, P6 = 5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 4:1 growing media composition, P7 = 7,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 4:1 growing media composition, P8 = 10% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using a 4:1 growing media composition. The parameters observed in this study were the number of shoots, stem length, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, degree of greenness of the leaves, root fresh weight, fresh chest weight, root dry weight and, root dry weight. The result showed that 3:1 growing media composition (soil : manure) gave the best results on the parameters of stem length, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, degree of greenesss of leaves, fresh weight of roots, and fresh weight of crown. Concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste show a concentration of 10% liquid organic fertilizer gave the best results on the parameters of number of shoots, stem length, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, degree of greenness of leaves, fresh weight of roots, fresh weight of crown, dry weight of roots and dry weight of crown.
