PENGARUH PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) VARIETAS BIMA BREBES SECARA TERAPUNG
The Effect of NPK Fertilizer Application on the Growth and Yield of Bima Brebes (Allium ascalonicum L.) Variety Shallot in Floating Cultivation (Supervised by SUSILAWATI). This study aims to determine the application of NPK fertilizer to the growth and yield of shallots cultivated in floating mode. The research was conducted at the Pond of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from May to August 2022. The seeds used were the Bima Brebes shallot variety. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatment levels, namely P0 = control (without NPK fertilizer), P1 = 0.7 grams of NPK/polybag, P2 = 1.4 grams of NPK/polybag, P3 = 2.1 grams of NPK/polybag and repeated 3 times, in which each repetition there were 3 plants. The seeds used in this study were the Bima Brebes shallot variety. Parameters observed included leaf length per plant, number of leaves per plant, number of tillers per clump, greenness of the leaves, root length, largest bulb diameter per plant, total bulb fresh weight per plant, total bulb dry weight per plant, fresh body weight, and approximate dry weight. Based on the results of research that has been done on the floating system, it can be concluded that the application of fertilizer has a very significant effect on the parameters of the number of tillers in the 2nd week and the fresh weight of the bulbs and plants and has a significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves in the 6th week, the dry weight of the wind bulbs, the fresh weight of the stems. , and approximate dry weight. Treatment P0 (control/without NPK fertilizer) was the best treatment for the growth and yield ofshallots in floating cultivation. Keywords: Shallots, NPK Fertilizer, Floating Cultivation
