This study aims (1) to describe the adoption of technology carried out by rice farming farmers on tidal land in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. (2) Analyze the adoption rate of rice farming on tidal land in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency and its relationship with productivity. (3) Analyze the influence of socio-economic characteristics on the adoption rate of rice farming technology in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The location determination was done purposively. Data collection was carried out in January 2023. The method used in this research is the survey method. The sampling method used is simple random sampling method. The number of samples taken were 90 tidal rice farmers. The data collected are primary data and secondary data. Potential of tidal land and problems in realizing increased productivity and income of rice farmers in tidal land. The level of technology adoption in Sri Menanti Village is in the high category. This is explained in the highest group (Pattern A) with very high adoption criteria used as an indicator. In Pattern A, the proportion of farmers is 66.9%, with a productivity of 6,198 kg/ha. The results of simple linear regression analysis show the effect of the adoption variable on productivity of 41.0%. Variables age, education level, land area, farming experience, income, interactions with extension workers, availability of facilities and infrastructure, and institutional roles jointly affect the adoption rate in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera
