This study aims to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years at the Al-Badariyah Muara Bulian Kindergarten. This research is a class action research (CAR) with the Kemis & Taggart model which consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Subjects and data sources in this study were 18 children consisting of 8 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques from observation checklist sheets and child documentation. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an increase in the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years at the Al-Badariyah Muara Bulian Kindergarten. cycle 1 was higher than the pre-cycle which was 11.1% in the category of developing as expected (BSH) while pre-cycle only 5.5% were in the category of developing as expected (BSH). Cycle II was higher than cycle 1, namely 83.3% which was in the category of developing according to expectations (BSH) and 11.1% which was in the very well developed category (BSB). From the results above it can be concluded that storytelling can increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Badariyah Muara Bulian Kindergarten. This research is considered feasible to use.
