Abstrak Kelompok angkatan kerja muda yang seharusnya menjadi modal dalam Pembangunan nasional tetapi justru banyak ditemukan sebagai beban Pembangunan dalam isu pengangguran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecepatan kelompok muda memperoleh suatu pekerjaan dengan menggunakan variabel demografi (pendidikan, jenis kelamin, dan status perkawinan) dan variabel sosial (pelatihan, pengalaman kerja, dan relasi). Data yang digunakan berasal dari Kusioner Sakernas Februari 2022 Badan Pusat Statistik Sumatra Selatan berjumlah 100 sampel responden yang telah bekerja dan berusia 15-30 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda dengan Ordinary Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel jenis kelamin dan status perkawinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap durasi mencari kerja kelompok usia muda. Rata-rata lama durasi kelompok muda menjadi pengangguran friksional adalah 3,6 bulan. Kata Kunci: Durasi mencari kerja; Jenis Kelamin; Status Perkawinan; Pelatihan; Pengalaman Kerja; Relasi Abstract The group of young workforce that should be an asset in national development is found to be a burden for development in the issue of unemployment. This study aims to analyze the speed with which young people obtain a job using demographic variables (education, gender, and marital status) and social variables (training, work experience, and relationships). The data used comes from the February 2022 Sakernas Questionnaire from the Central Statistics Agency for South Sumatra, totaling 100 samples of respondents who have worked and aged 15-30 years. This research uses multiple regression with Ordinary Least Square. The results showed that the variables of gender and marital status had a significant effect on the duration of looking for work in the young age group. The average duration of duration for the youth group to be frictional unemployment is 3.6 months.
