PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN THREE-TIER DIAGNOSTIC TEST UNTUK MENDETEKSI MISKONSEPSI PADA MATERI KOMPONEN EKOSISTEM DI SMA
This study seeks to identify the reasons of misconceptions among high school students in Palembang City as well as the validity and reliability of the three-tier diagnostic test on ecosystem component material among high school students. This study makes use of Treagust's development approach, which consists of three key steps: content definition, obtaining information about stundent misconceptions, and developing diagnostic test. Material for ecosystem components was created using Campbell's book. Three-tier diagnostic test instrument is created in the form multiple choice with reasons provied and CRI. The three-tier diagnostic test instrument was verified by five validators using the CVR and received a value of 1, suggesting that it is valid and useful for misconceptions. The KR-20 formula is employed in the instrument reliability test. According to the trial's findings, there were 58.02% misconceptions in the sub-matter that makes up the ecosystem, 50.11% in the sub-matter for the biotic component, and 51.09% in the sub-matter for the abiotic component.
