The objectives of this research is to describe information on the histori of kretek and the hypogram between book Membunuh Indonesia Konspirasi Global Penghancuran Kretek by Abhisam DM, Hasriadi Ary and Miranda Harlan with novel Gadis Kretek by Ratih Kumala, and the implications for learning Indonesian. The method uses descriptive qualitative with an intertextual approach. The result indicate that intertextually there are text link between book Membunuh Indonesia Konspirasi Global Penghancuran Kretek with novel Gadis Kretek. The conclusion is be found similarity information related the history of Indonesian kretek and book Membunuh Indonesia Konspirasi Global Penghancuran Kretek is a hypogram of the text novel Gadis Kretek. The implication is on Tenth Grade Senior High School Indonesian language learning materials. Keyword: Intertextual, hypogram, fiction, nonfiction
