The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the accumulation of Village Funds and Village Fund Allocations and population on the Village Building Index in Selangit District, Musi Rawas Regency. The data used in this study is panel data from 11 villages in Selangit Subdistrict, Musi Rawas Regency in the range of 2018-2022 regarding the Village Fund, Village Fund Allocation, population, and Village Building Index. The data analysis technique used is the panel data regression analysis technique with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach method. The results of this study indicate that the existence of village funds has a positive impact on the social, economic, and environmental dimensions as seen from the IDM value which changes every year and an increase in the classification of villages that were previously underdeveloped into developing villages in Selangit District, Musi Rawas Regency. Meanwhile, the population is positively related but does not have a significant effect on the Village Development Index, where population growth makes land clearing for settlements do not have a good impact on village growth.
