ANALISIS STRUKTUR ARGUMENTASI PESERTA DIDIK SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS KELAS XII PADA PEMBUKTIAN MATERI BANGUN RUANG DIMENSI TIGA
This research aims to analyze the argumentative abilities of class XII high school students in proving the material of three-dimensional with the help of two-column proofs, the subjects of this study were 29 students of class XII MIPA I Senior high school 1 Pemali. In the first to the third meeting students are taught how to prove using two-column proofs. The data were obtained from a written test which consisted of 2 description question that correspond to the proof questions in a three-dimensional. The research results showed that most student were able to bring up at least 3 components of arguments. Correctly, students first identify exsiting facts and than develop arguments based on these facts by using valid reasons. Then, when giving arguments to show evidence, students experience problems in terms of conceptual and principal understanding, so they fail to provide valid arguments
