Indication of Ovulation Delay Cases on Follicle Diameter and Estrus Intensity in Crossbreed Belgian Blue (CBB) Cattle (Supervised by Langgeng Priyanto). Crossbreed cattle are crosses between two breeds of cattle that are carried out to produce superior genetic cattle. However, the results of these crosses have some drawbacks, especially in terms of reproductive performance, such as reproductive disorders in cattle in the form of ovulation delays. Delayed ovulation is a condition in which cattle experience delayed or untimely ovulation. The symptoms shown are prolonged estrus and repeated breeding. This study aimed to observe and study the dynamics of ovarian follicular development in Belgian Blue (CBB) cross-breed cattle diagnosed with delayed ovulation. The data obtained on this research by using Ultrasonography (USG) to describe the development of follicles and carried out every day for one cycle. The research was carried out at BPTU HPT Sembawa, Banyuasin, South Sumatra. Base on the results, the Follicle development during one cycle showed that the dominant follicle size in CBB cattle affected by ovulation delay was larger than in normal cattle. The intensity of estrus observed showed that the cow experienced the same estrus symptoms as cows in general, but had a cycle that lasted three days and ovulation occurred the next day.
