BUMDes is a rural business institution managed by the community with the village government using its potential to strengthen the rural economy. In realizing the goals of BUMDes programs, awareness and active participation of the entire community are needed to support the success of BUMDes programs. This study aims (1) to determine the level of community participation in BUMDes program activities in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) to analyze public perception of the success rate of BUMDes program in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, (3) to analyze the relationship of participation rate to the success of BUMDes program in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. Location determination is done based on the above background and considering that in the area has a lot of Natural Resources and see the participation of the community. Data collection has been carried out in March 2023. Methods used in research survey methods. Sampling method using purposive sampling method (intentionally). A sample of 30 people. Data collected are primary data and secondary data. Data processing method to answer the first goal using likert scale, then to answer the second goal using likert scale, and to answer the third goal using spearman rank correlation test. The results of this study indicate that (1) the level of community participation in BUMDes program activities in Desa Gasing obtained results with a total average score of 27.60 with moderate criteria. Because the community actively participates in the BUMDes program so that the program works well, (2) the public perception of the success rate of the BUMDes program is medium/good because almost all communities in Desa Gasing are satisfied with the existence of BUMDes, services both in terms of services and BUMdes contributions that help community income, (3) based on the results of this study there is a significant relationship between the level of participation and the success rate of BUMDes programs and is included in the criteria strong enough with a score of 0.370*.
