The study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental degradation, i.e., carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) emissions, and per capita income in ASEAN countries. The data used in this study is secondary data from panel data from 1993–2020 from the World Bank and Our World in Data. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis with the Granger Causality Test. The results of the study showed a one-way link that flows from environmental degradation such as CO2 and CH4 emissions to per capita income in ASEAN countries, but not the opposite.
