DETERMINAN KESEHATAN PERBANKAN SYARIAH DI INDONESIA DAN MALAYSIA
This study aims to determine the effect of the variables GDP, Inflation, CAR and NPF on the health of Islamic banking in Indonesia and Malaysia as seen from the ratio of ROA and a comparison of their health from 2011-2020. The analysis technique uses panel data and independent t-test mean differences. The results of the study show that GDP does not have a significant negative effect on Islamic banking in Indonesia and has a significant positive effect in Malaysia. Inflation has no significant negative effect in Indonesia or Malaysia. CAR has a positive and significant effect in Indonesia and Malaysia NPF has a negative and significant effect in Indonesia, while in Malaysia it has an insignificant positive effect. overall, based on the average difference test, Islamic banking in Indonesia is considered much better than Malaysia
