The manufacture of motor vehicles Industry has a very strategic position in the midst of industrial transformation, so it becomes one of the indicators to see how fast or slow the development of industry 4.0. This study aims to analyse the cost and profit structure of the manufacture of motor vehicles industry in Indonesia. with The variables used are costs, labour productivity, labor efficiency, and the return cost ratio. The data used is secondary data with a time period of 2000-2020. Technical analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis with Pearson correlation and semi-logarithmic multiple linear regression The results showed that the cost structure consisted of 97.7 percent fixed costs and 2.23 percent variable costs. Simultaneously, the independent variables have an influence and are significant, while partially of the three independent variables, labour productivity and labor efficiency are influential and significant only the return cost ratio is not significant to the profits of the manufacture of motor vehicles.
